Aishwarya’s CARE Call allows people to use their mobile phone to escalate care for themselves or their loved one whose condition is deteriorating in hospital.

You can make an Aishwarya’s CARE Call from a mobile phone device anywhere throughout the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group and the Rockingham Peel Group.

In emergency departments at the Fiona Stanley and Rockingham Hospitals, a clearly sign-posted phone can be used to make an Aishwarya’s CARE Call.

If you make a call, you will be put straight through to someone for assistance.

How do I make an Aishwarya’s CARE Call?

Aishwarya’s CARE Call is a 3-step process you can follow as a patient, carer or family member. Use it if you are worried that you or the person you care for is getting sicker whilst in hospital.

Step 1: Worried about a change in your condition or the person you care for? Tell us. Step 2: Still worried? Speak to a senior staff member. Step 3: If your concern is urgent, call your hospital's Aishwarya's CARE Call line or use the Aishwarya's CARE Cal

Aishwarya's CARE Call Resources

Each hospital has a different Aishwarya’s CARE Call phone number. To find the number, ask a staff member at your hospital or look out for one of our Aishwarya’s CARE Call posters or flyers.

What happens when making an Aishwarya’s CARE Call?

When making a call, you will be put straight through to a senior member of staff.

After listening to your concerns, the staff member will take the actions needed to address your concerns.

For example, they may contact the treating doctor or other members of the healthcare team to ensure you or the person you are concerned about is assessed and any necessary changes to the treatment plan are carried out.

The staff member who receives your call will keep you updated as to what action has been taken.
