Why should I become a member?

Registering as a member of Put it to the People tells us a little about you. Knowing about you and the parts of the health service that interest you helps us understand the many differing viewpoints we receive.

For example, if you live near Rockingham and indicate that you are interested in Paediatric services, we may notify you if we launch any activities related to children's services at Rockingham General Hospital. This would give you the opportunity to have your say on that subject.

Your thoughts and experiences matter. Sharing them with us helps us to shape, change and improve the healthcare we deliver to our community.

Why engage online?

Engaging online allows you to have your say in the healthcare decisions that affect you in your own time and from the comfort of your own home.

Engaging online means:

  • You don't have to attend community meetings at a set place and time, you can contribute at a time and place that suits you.
  • It is a quick, safe and convenient way to have your say on a range of issues and topics.
  • It is a great way to keep up to date and contribute your views on issues affecting the SMHS community.
  • It allows for a range of different people, with different views to discuss matters that impact on their community.

What happens to my feedback or comments?

When you register and share information about yourself, it means that we can let you know about projects and activities that may interest you. By selecting to receive notifications, we can keep you informed when we launch new projects or update existing activities.

We don't share your information with third parties, and we won't send you lots of unwanted emails.

If I become a member, will everyone know who I am?

No. Just chose a username of your choice. This is the name that will be shown when you share your thoughts and suggestions. Your name or email address will not be seen.
