Carers are invited to complete the Carer Experience Questionnaire

Approximately 320,000 Western Australians are carers.

Carers are invaluable members of our community and are essential to the health and wellbeing of our patients. Carers provide unpaid personal care, support and assistance to someone who needs help with daily life due to disability, chronic illness or frailty.

Recognising and supporting carers is important to the South Metropolitan Health Service. To help us to understand what is important to carers who access the health services we provide, a Carer Experience Questionnaire has been developed to capture the experiences of carers who support our patients.

Thank you for providing your feedback on the design of the Questionnaire. We listened to your feedback and have updated the questionnaire.

On the lead up to Carers Week 2023, we invite carers to complete the updated questionnaire. This year, Carers week occurs between October 15th - 21st.
