The World Health Organisation estimates there are one billion people in the world living with disability. Here in Australia 1 in 6 people live with disability. Almost half of adults who live with a disability rate their health as fair or poor.
We recognise the need to continually work to improve the accessibility and inclusiveness of health services and the broader community for people with disability.
Help us to make changes to increase access and build a more equal society where everyone has the ability to meet their full potential.
Below is a 5 minute survey about access, signage, support, information and involvement. If you have a disability, or care for a person with a disability, we'd love to hear your feedback.
Do you live with a disability, or care for someone who does?
Do you have 5 minutes to tell us more?
To coincide with the International Day of People with Disability 2022, the South Metropolitan Health Service are inviting feedback from people with disability, or the family/carers of people with disability.
Have you have visited our hospitals or used our services over the last 3 months?
