Harmony Globe 2025 Winner Announced

Thank you to all the teams that participated in a Harmony Week event to celebrate the diversity in your teams. We had some wonderful events shared with us, from morning teas to team cultural quests! These events are a great way of connecting with others and sharing our heritage, history and values.

Congratulations to the FSH Rehab Hospitality team who are the winners of the 2025 Harmony Globe. The team held a morning tea with staff wearing cultural dress and sharing food from the twelve nationalities that make up their team.

Observed between 15th and 21st March, this week is a time to celebrate our cultural diversity, inclusiveness, and promote a sense of belonging for all – from the traditional owners of the land to those who have come from many countries around the world.

Staff across all SMHS sites are encouraged to get involved, and there are many ways that you can choose to participate.

See below for all the opportunities to celebrate during Harmony Week across SMHS.

Harmony Day displays will be set up across each of the hospital sites on Friday 21st March.

March 21 is a special day that marks the end of Harmony Week. As the International Day of Elimination of Racial Discrimination, it is a time of reflection, reminding us of the negative consequences of racial discrimination
